Walter Moore... Canadian Eh!
What is it?
PingMon is a small Windows program that monitors a TCP/IP network. PingMon is designed to monitor hundreds of addresses, not just one. PingMon monitors for lost connections and slow response.
Who should use it?
Anyone wishing to monitor the availability of multiple addresses on a network.
Features
- It's FREE!
- Monitor hundreds of addresses on any accessible networks at the same time.
- Extremely fast. Multithreading means PingMon can easily monitor hundreds of sites every minute.
- Network friendly. Pingmon sends very small packets and only pings each address once instead of the normal 3 times. This improves performance as well.
- Use IP address(190.162.34.205), name(www.aperson.com), or number 7558554785.
- Set each sites "slow response" interval separately. Some addresses should respond in 10ms others within 100ms, PingMon allows you to customize this for each site.
- Set each sites check interval separately. Some should be checked every minute, others every half hour, PingMon allows you to customize this for each site.
- Copy and Paste sections of the log for reporting purposes.
- Sections of screen for errors and slow response. Errors are red.
- PingMon only tells you about errors. You don't have to wade through messages telling you things are fine(that is what you expect). You want to know about problems so you can resolve them.
